The service

FactApp provides live quiz rooms, solo challenges, scheduled quizzes, chat and social games, operated by EAG Web Solutions (South Africa). By using FactApp you accept these terms.

Accounts & guests

You can play as a guest or with an account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for activity on your account. Accounts for children should be created and supervised by a parent or guardian.

Fair play & behaviour

  • No harassment, hate speech or abuse in rooms, chats or names.
  • No cheating tools or automation; play fair, it's a quiz night.
  • Hosts control their rooms and scheduled quizzes and may admit, decline or remove players.
  • Games are for fun. Card games such as blackjack and poker are played with points only, FactApp is not a gambling service and no money or prizes of monetary value are staked or won.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you create (custom question packs, messages, display names). You grant us the licence needed to store and display it to the people you share it with. Don't upload content you don't have the right to share; we may remove content that breaks these terms.

Question content

Quiz answers include sourced explanations. We work to keep content accurate but provide it "as is", spot something wrong? Tell us and we'll fix it.

Availability & liability

FactApp is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EAG Web Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under South African consumer law.
